Things to Come….

I know I have been pretty quiet lately.

There have been so many changes within my life that consumed all my attention. Over the past month, I have done a lot of soul searching and praying.

One of the areas of my praying has been about the future of Biblical Bodies and asking God to lead me closer to HIS design for it.

So here is what is being inspired right now:

I am creating a personal training program called Biblical Bodies Health and Wellness Training for Women. This program will be 8 weeks long and will consist of 1 on 1 personal training with yours truly (me), personalized exercise and nutrition plan, initial and biweekly evaluations, session on re-doing your pantry, a guided grocery shopping session, group workouts (possibly) and health and wellness classes.

The training will provide women with the fundamentals on how to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle on their own. My sole purpose is to equip women with the knowledge and know-how in 8 weeks to live out a life of freedom within their health and wellness program.

Of course, we cannot have true freedom in life without our savior Jesus Christ.

Through the 8 weeks, women will also learn and strengthen the spiritual component in their health and wellness regimen. God is and always will be the center of Biblical Bodies. 

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life: your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life; and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to  your couture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” Romans 12:1-2

Is this a diet? No.

Is this a challenge? No.

This is a guided journey to a lasting lifestyle change.

Now for me personally, I am on the path to get my personal trainer and group fitness certification. During the next couple of months I hope to complete the courses and do a trial run of my program with myself and a couple of other ladies who have volunteered to be my guinea pigs, thanks ladies!! I hope to go public with this program by the end of January and start my first 8 week session in February.

So what can you do? I simply ask for prayers that God will continue to guide me in the direction Biblical Bodies is supposed to go.

I have such a burning desire to get the knowledge out about God’s design for health and wellness! Its such a wonderful feeling of freedom that I have experienced in my own life and cannot wait to share it! I hope you will continue to join me on this journey.
